Trim Levels

The Express returns with the 2500 and the 3500 trims along with the 3500 Ext. The regular versions measure 224 in while the Ext stretches out to 244 in. You can choose between the LS or the LT trims with all versions. The LS 2500 comes with 16-in steel wheels while the 3500 models come with 17-in wheels. The LT has chrome accents on the exterior and keyless entry, along with cruise control and a trip computer.

All Express Vans come with a 4.8-liter flex-fuel V8 engine that delivers 285 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can also upgrade to a 6.0-liter V8 engine that gets 339 horsepower. Both pair with the 6-speed automatic transmission. You can expect to get about 11 mpg combined in this large van with either engine. The only difference is the 4.8-liter engine gets 13 mpg in the city while the larger engine returns about 12 mpg in the city.

You can choose between an 8 or 15 passenger configuration and upgrade to a sliding passenger-side rear door instead of the swing-out side rear door. Vinyl upholstery comes standard, with the option to upgrade to cloth in the LT.
